Short description
In this practical course you get to know our method for interdisciplinary work in VET education, and learn to work with our the price winning formula of ‘The Talent Studio’. Actively practicing with various forms of Design Thinking, such as the specifically designed ICE model and LEGO Serious Play, are part of this training.
Learning outcomes
After this training program:
- You have more knowledge of Interdisciplinary working in The Talent Studio and you know its 7 principles.
- You can apply the didactic model of ‘The Talent Studio’ in your own educational situation.
- You can actively use the ‘ICE model’ in your own educational environment.
- You know how to use LEGO effectively and learn what results you can achieve when guiding processes.
- You know how to reflect with the help of LEGO Serious Play, which allows you to process and share impressions in a creative way.
Daily program

Day 1
- Check-in with introduction: participants get to know each other and share their expectations regarding the two-day event.
- Tour of the Talent Studio, where students from different courses work in teams. We show you the rooms and you see how we apply the working method.
- Introduction to the goals of the Talent Studio. The Talent Studio has set seven goals; you will learn what each goal entails and why they are so important.
- Choice of topic for the challenge on day 2. Participants submit a topic or problem for which they are looking for an innovative solution.

Day 2
- ICE Challenge: experience how students devise and pitch interdisciplinary innovative solutions. On this day you will experience for yourself what the ICE model can do for you and your students. We go through the phases with various working methods to arrive at an innovative solution.
- You learn how LEGO Serious Play works and what you can achieve with it when guiding processes. Together we will reflect on the impressions of the past few days with the help of LEGO Serious Play.
- Final evaluation.
- Certification.

Pricing
This training program costs € 410 per participant (VAT free). Travel and accommodation costs are not included.
Our training courses are eligible for funding by the Erasmus plus key action 1 (KA1 learning mobility of individuals).
This training starts with a minimum of 12 participants.
