Learn to communicate positively and effectively, listen empathetically and deal with challenging behavior of children and young people.

Short description

This program covers effective communication and dealing with children and young people. It includes insight into your own neuro-linguistic programming, insight into brain functioning of children and young people, positive communication, emotion management and behavioural change. Participants learn a goal-oriented approach, empathic listening and dealing with challenging behaviour.


Learning outcomes

After this training program:

  • You will have a deeper insight into your own thinking patterns and those of your students, making you better able to build positive and effective relationships.
  • You have insight into the functioning of the brains of children and young people to better tailor your educational approaches to the cognitive needs of your students.
  • You have concrete skills to deal effectively with the emotions of children and young people with the aim of promoting a positive learning environment.



Daily program

Day 1

  • Check-in participants.
  • Neorolinguistic Programming: definition and principles.
  • How do you feel about yourself and others?
  • Insight into the functioning of the brain of children and young people. Stimulus processing.

Day 2

  • Non-verbal influence and positive thinking.
  • Dealing effectively with the emotions of children and young people.

Day 3

  • Listen empathetically and ask questions empathetically.
  • Control in solving stressful situations in working with children and young people.

Day 4

  • A goal-oriented approach leads to desired behavioural change among students, parents and colleagues.
  • What ways of thinking do you have? How do you connect with others?
  • Tools and strategies for dealing with ‘difficult behaviour’.
  • Final evaluation.
  • Certification.

Pricing

This training program costs € 820 per participant (VAT free). Travel and accommodation costs are not included.

Our training courses are eligible for funding by the Erasmus plus key action 1 (KA1 learning mobility of individuals).

This training starts with a minimum of 12 participants.
